When I behold the face
reflected in the mirror...
I'd say it looks like me.
To the back and at my sides
I am now bordered by three.
The one before
seems focused in the past
but, to the front...
I am never far behind
If I exit to the right
I will surely spring free
leaving for all to only ponder
the nature of that
which was left.
Individual Obligations

If asked, most would agree that the honoring of individuality is
a noble idea.  Simultaneously, the majority would also confess
it is difficult to envision just what this would look like if it were
even at all feasible.  How would the necessary lessons be
delivered and just how would consensus be developed and
peace nurtured?

In the era of 'present' there exists  ever-increasing world

categorical representation? Do you like me because I look/think like you? Or, do you

Consensus is not necessary and, in fact, can be quite detrimental.  Peace is
not realistic as it depends upon a collective harmony and seems to retreat
from the range of grasp in a manner inversely proportionate to effort.
Relative to brain capacity, we expend 90% of the 15%** we use making
sure the other does not get there first. I somehow sense you may hold
the key but fail to realize it is of no use until we collaborate on that which
will benefit a third party.

It is hard to imagine
a face to see...
to pick up the litter
I left behind.
The child in the mirror
now appears a man...
and man o’ man
the kid says it’s me.
Every one happens
for a reason.
